Each gel wax melt is handmade and hand-poured by Village Wax Melts. Unlike traditional wax melts, gel wax is easy to remove once cooled. Simply peel it out of your burner when you're ready to change fragrances. You only need a small amount each time, making these spa-inspired gel wax melts great value for everyday home fragrance.

How to Use Spa Retreat Gel Wax Melts

  1. Place approximately a quarter of the tub into a suitable wax melt burner, taking care not to overfill the dish.
  2. Allow the gel wax to warm and release its fresh, spa-inspired fragrance around your room.
  3. Switch off your electric warmer or extinguish the tealight after use.
  4. Once the gel wax and burner have cooled completely, gently peel the gel away when you're ready to change fragrances.

Gel Wax Melt Safety

  • For tealight burners, use a suitable wax melt burner at least 11cm tall.
  • Use only one standard-sized, unscented 4-hour tealight at a time.

In order to return an order, please contact us via email first. Returns can be mailed to: Unit 4c Towngate Business Park, M38 0PT. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs with regard to the items that you wish to return.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. 

Storage & Care

Keep your gel wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve their fragrance. Store them in their original packaging or an airtight container to lock in the scent. Proper storage ensures your melts stay fresh and highly scented until you’re ready to enjoy them.

How to use a gel wax melt

To use a gel wax melt, simply scoop out a portion of the gel wax and place it in your wax burner. Light a small, unscented tea light underneath the gel to melt it and release the fragrance. Make sure to flip the gel over halfway through the burn cycle to ensure even scent dispersal. Use a burner made specifically for wax melts, and never leave it lit unattended.

How long does gel wax take to melt?

It will take around 3 to 12 minutes for a little portion of your gel wax to melt and begin to release its scent.
