Wax melts are fragrant wax pieces which melt at hot temperatures, releasing a strong aroma into your home.
When heated in a wax burner, the solid wax melts into a pool of liquid wax. The melted wax then starts to release the strong fragrance. There are a variety of different shapes & sizes of wax melts: wax tarts, snap bars, clamshells and more. 1. Wax melts are the most affordable way to fragrance your home
One reason why people love wax melts so much is the price. Our wax melts are full to the brim of strong fragrance, which means that the aroma from one wax melt can last multiple burns.
Top tip: our wax melts can easily be snapped in half, and due to their size you only need to use half a heart in your burner. Each heart provides up to 18 hours of fragrance, so in every pack that’s 54 hours of strong fragrance for just £2.95. Bargain!
2. Wax melts are easy & convenient to use
When using wax melts, you simply pop a tealight inside your wax burner, place the wax melt in the wax burner dish and enjoy the beautiful fragrance.
To remove used wax from your burner, you can either use cotton pads to soak up the melted wax, or if the wax has solidified, simply pop a tealight in the burner under the wax, wait two minutes for the dish to warm and the solid wax will slide straight out of the dish. Easy!
3. Wax melts are a safer alternative to candles
You should never leave wax melts or candles unattended, however the benefit of wax melts is that they are typically used with a 3-4 hour tealight, so there is no chance of the wax melt being forgotten about and left burning over a long period of time. There is also the option of using an electric wax melter with wax melts, so no flame at all! The light bulb in an electric burner melts the wax and gives off the strong fragrance without the flame.
4. Wax melts can help you to relax

5. You can control the scent
One of the best things about wax melts is, unlike candles, you can control how strong you would like the fragrance. You can add more or less depending on your room size and how strong you like the fragrance.
You can experiment with how much wax to use in your burner, for example if you use half a heart wax melt, the fragrance will be strong, however the scent will evaporate quicker, whereas if you use a full heart, the scent may not be as strong initially, however the fragrance will last longer!
